- 三识
- The three states of mind or consciousness: 真識 the original unsullied consciousness or Mind, the (sa) tathāgatagarbha, the eighth or (sa) ālaya 阿賴耶識 ; 現識 mind or consciousness diversified in contact with or producing phenomena, good and evil; 分別識 consciousness discriminating and evolving the objects of the five senses. Also 意識 (sa) manas, 心識 (sa) ālaya, and 無垢識 (sa) amala, v. 識.
